Wiring tool coming soon

We're building a free, beginner-friendly wiring tool for 12, 24 and 48 V systems in your 4WD, camper, caravan or boat. Answer a few questions, or enter your own parts and cable runs, and it draws your system, sizes every cable and fuse, and lists the parts from our store to build it.

It's a planning guide, not a certified design, and it doesn't replace a qualified installer. Here's a look at what it does.

  • The wiring tool's opening window: plan a new system, build around parts you already have, or work out cables, fuses and connectors.

  • Three ways to start

    Plan a new system from a few simple questions, build around the parts you already have or have in mind, or go straight to cable sizes, fuses and connectors for a system you've already planned.
  • A wiring diagram drawn by the tool for a caravan: a DC-DC charger, roof solar and its controller, a 300 Ah lithium battery, a fuse block for the 12 V loads and a 2000 W inverter.

  • Your system, drawn

    As you go, the tool draws your wiring diagram: battery, charging, solar, inverter and loads, with the fuses and busbars in place. Click any part on the drawing to change it.
  • The tool's cables and fuses table: each run's current, length, cable size, voltage drop, fuse and the connector at each end.

  • Every cable and fuse sized

    In the Full plan you enter the length of each cable run. The tool sizes every cable for its current and voltage drop, picks the fuse to protect it, and sets the connector at each end: lug, Anderson plug, MC4 or bare wire.
  • The tool's parts list: each main component matched to a store product with its price, the add-to-cart buttons and the estimated total.

  • The parts list, priced

    Every part is matched to a product in our store, with its price and a running total. Leave out what you already own, then add one group or the whole list to your cart. (Prices in the picture are from September 2026.)

  • Made for your phone too

    Plan on your phone or your computer. On a phone the drawing shows one area at a time, and the tables turn into cards that are easy to read.
