External Vent Point for Battery Box Ventilation

This Exotronic vent is a 1/2" BSP threaded stainless steel fitting that gives a battery box or compartment a dedicated external vent point. It accepts 10mm OD PTFE tube, so the vent path can be routed away from the battery to a suitable outlet location.

The face of the vent uses a fine, dual-direction stainless steel mesh. This lets air and gas pass through while helping keep insects, bugs and larger debris out of the vent path, and gives a neat, professional finish for visible installations.

Made from 304 stainless steel, the vent suits lithium battery installations in caravans, RVs, marine vessels, 4WD and off-grid battery enclosures where ventilation and pressure equalisation are needed. It should be installed in accordance with the battery manufacturer's requirements and does not replace correct battery installation, enclosure design or safety systems.
