Australian Made, Vented for Enclosed Installation

The Exotronic 12V 300Ah Apex Series is an Australian made deep cycle LiFePO4 lithium battery for caravans, RVs, 4x4 vehicles and off-grid installations. It is not designed for engine starting or cranking applications. The enclosure includes a safety vent connection that accepts 10mm OD PTFE tubing, up to 1m long, routed below the height of the battery. Allow at least 10mm clearance on all sides and 100mm above the battery.

Ingress Protection

The enclosure is rated IP20 when the safety vent is disconnected, and IP54 when the safety vent tubing is correctly installed and all port covers or suitable connectors are securely fitted.

Safety and Battery Management

The battery uses A Grade aluminium-cased prismatic LiFePO4 cells fitted with a safety rupture disc, inside a heavy-duty ABS case. The integrated JK Battery Management System includes a 2A microprocessor-controlled active balancer and protects against overcurrent, short circuit, over/under-voltage and extreme temperature, with real time Bluetooth monitoring of cell voltages, temperature, current and state of charge. Up to 16 of the same model can be connected in parallel; these batteries must not be connected in series.

On/Off Button

Hold the button for 5 seconds to turn the battery on (the button LED stays lit while on; charging also activates the battery), and hold it for 5 seconds to turn the battery off.
