Reverse Current Protection for Solar Arrays

This pack contains 10 identical Exotronic In-line Blocking Diode Solar Connectors, each combining a standard Ø 4 mm solar connector with a built-in Schottky diode rated at 20A. They are compatible with MC4 connectors and install with a simple plug-and-play connection, with no tools required.

Every connector in the pack shares the same 20A rating - this is not an assorted pack of different current ratings. The Schottky diode has a low forward voltage drop and blocks reverse current flow, helping to protect solar panels and improve system reliability, for example where panels or strings are connected in parallel.

Each connector carries an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating when mated, with tinned copper contacts and a snap-in locking system, suiting caravan, 4WD, marine and other outdoor solar installations.
