Manufactured by KEY, an Australian cable maker based in South Australia, it uses 99.9% OFHC (Oxygen Free High Conductivity) copper conductors (364 strands of 0.30mm) to keep resistance low and maintain voltage at the load over high-current battery, starter and inverter runs.

The conductor is insulated in V90HT PVC rated to 90°C, with a red sheath for positive circuit identification when paired with a black single core of the same size. The cable carries a 170A current rating with a 120V DC maximum, suiting 12V, 24V and 48V low-voltage systems.

Because it is cut to order, this per-metre option suits shorter high-current runs, repairs and top-ups where a full 100m roll is not needed.
