This 8B&S (7.9mm²) black single core automotive cable is sold per metre so you only buy the length you need. It uses a copper conductor to AS/NZS 1125 (112 strands of 0.30mm) to keep resistance low and maintain voltage at the load over accessory, battery and charging circuit runs.

The conductor is insulated in V90HT PVC rated to 90°C, with a black sheath for negative/earth circuit identification when paired with a red single core of the same size. The cable carries a 74A current rating at 30°C with a 120V DC maximum, suiting 12V, 24V and 48V low-voltage systems.

Because it is cut to order, this per-metre option suits shorter accessory runs, repairs and top-ups where a full 100m roll is not needed.
