PowerControl & PowerAssist – Intelligent Energy Management
The MultiPlus-II’s PowerControl feature allows precise limitation of AC input current, preventing overload on generators or the grid. PowerAssist extends this functionality by supplementing limited grid or generator power with stored battery energy during peak loads, then recharging the battery once demand decreases. This maximises system efficiency and guarantees uninterrupted power to essential loads, making it ideal for sites with limited shore power or generator capacity.
Seamless AC Supply & Dual Output Functionality
The main AC output delivers uninterrupted power during grid or generator outages, with transfer times under 20 milliseconds, keeping sensitive electronics operational. The secondary AC output is live only when input power is present, ideal for non-critical loads such as water heaters. Both outputs integrate with PowerControl and PowerAssist for smart load management, ensuring critical loads always have priority.
Scalable & Flexible System Configuration
Up to six MultiPlus-II units can be connected in parallel for expanded power capacity. Three units of the same model can be configured for three-phase output, and up to six sets of three units can operate in parallel for very large installations. On-site configuration is simple via VEConfigure software, while real-time monitoring is available through Cerbo GX, Ekrano GX, Digital Multi Control Panel, VictronConnect, or the VRM Online portal.
High Efficiency & Robust Design
With a maximum efficiency of 96%, the MultiPlus-II minimises energy losses while delivering reliable AC power. Its rugged IP21-rated steel enclosure and fan-assisted cooling allow safe operation in temperatures from -40°C to +65°C. Compatible with lithium, lead-acid, and zinc-bromine batteries, it provides flexibility for diverse energy storage systems. The internal transfer switch is rated at 50 A, ensuring safe passage of grid or generator power.
