The RTSDCC reads the temperature of a house battery bank and feeds it to a compatible Renogy DC to DC on-board battery charger, so the charger can apply temperature-compensated charging voltage. This helps protect battery lifespan and performance, particularly in cold conditions.
This sensor is compatible with the Renogy 12V 20A/40A/60A DC to DC on-board Battery Charger.
