High-Frequency 48V Inverter/Charger with a Powerful 100A AC Charger

The Victron Multi RS 48/6000/100-50 is a lightweight, high-frequency 48V inverter/charger rated at 6000VA, combining a pure sine wave inverter with a powerful 100A battery charger in a single compact unit. It is the non-solar variant in the Multi RS range - it does not include a built-in MPPT solar charge controller - making it well suited to systems where solar is added separately, either as a DC-coupled charge controller or as AC-coupled PV inverters on the output, or to systems that don't use solar at all.

Continuous output power scales with battery voltage, from 4600W at 46VDC up to 5200W at 52VDC (25°C), derating to 4500W at 40°C, with a peak surge of 9kW for 3 seconds. PowerControl and PowerAssist let it boost the capacity of a limited grid or generator connection by drawing on the battery during peak demand, while a 50A transfer switch handles backup and off-grid mode switching.

System Integration and Monitoring

Communication is via VE.Can (for connection to a GX device such as a Cerbo GX, enabling VRM remote monitoring, ESS functionality and zero-export configuration), VE.Direct (for a GlobalLink 520 remote monitoring modem) and built-in Bluetooth for local setup and monitoring via the VictronConnect app and the unit's own display. Two programmable analog/digital I/O ports and a programmable relay support custom automation such as generator start/stop.
