Purpose-Built Link Between a BMV Shunt and Head Unit

The Victron RJ12 UTP Cable connects a BMV battery monitor shunt to its display head unit, carrying the shunt's low-level analogue signal back to the monitor. A shorter RJ12 cable ships standard with every BMV, but where the shunt and display are mounted further apart - such as a shunt at the battery bank and a display on a distant switch panel - a longer cable is needed to complete the run without splicing.

This 30 metre version is the longest length in Victron's RJ12 UTP cable range, which spans from 0.3m up to 30m. Because the signal is a sensitive low-level analogue reading, Victron supplies this cable as a factory-made assembly rather than something to be cut and terminated on site.
