The Victron smallBMS NG is a next-generation battery management system engineered to safeguard Victron Smart LiFePO₄ batteries with M8 circular connectors. This compact unit delivers essential cell-level monitoring and control, preventing damage from over-voltage, under-voltage, and temperature extremes. Unlike generic BMS solutions, the smallBMS NG integrates directly with Victron’s ecosystem, ensuring precise communication and reliable operation in mobile, marine, and off-grid applications.

Designed for 12V, 24V, and 48V systems, it operates across a wide 8–70V DC range, making it suitable for diverse installations. The unit draws minimal current—as low as 1.2 mA in remote-off or low-cell-voltage states—reducing parasitic drain on your battery bank.

• Load Disconnect Output: Normally high (Vbat – 0.1V), sources up to 1A to drive external relays or contactors, protecting against deep discharge.
• Pre-Alarm Warning: Provides a 30-second early alert before load disconnect, allowing time for graceful system shutdown or generator start.
• Charge Disconnect Output: Normally high, sources up to 500mA to control compatible chargers or Cyrix-Li relays, preventing over-charge and over-temperature conditions.
• Remote On/Off Control: Flexible input via Remote L/H terminals for external switching, enabling integration with system-level controls.
• LED Status Indicators: Blue 'Load ON' and red 'Temp or OVP' LEDs provide at-a-glance system status without additional monitoring tools.
• Compact, Durable Enclosure: ABS matt black housing (106 x 42 x 23 mm, 0.1 kg) with IP20 rating, suitable for protected indoor installations.
