The Victron VE.Bus BMS NG is a dedicated Battery Management System designed exclusively for Victron Lithium NG batteries. It communicates directly with Victron inverters and inverter/chargers via the VE.Bus protocol, ensuring coordinated protection and optimal performance. This unit is not compatible with Victron Lithium Battery Smart batteries.

Intelligent Monitoring and Control

This advanced BMS continuously monitors individual cell voltages and temperatures, safeguarding against over-voltage, under-voltage, and thermal extremes. Integrated Bluetooth Smart connectivity provides direct access to all Lithium NG batteries, enabling real-time monitoring of State of Charge (SoC) and current via the VictronConnect app. This eliminates the need for additional components like a SmartShunt, simplifying installation and reducing system complexity.

Scalable Architecture for Demanding Applications

The VE.Bus BMS NG supports large-scale energy storage configurations, making it suitable for a wide range of installations:

  • Up to 50 batteries in 12V or 24V banks (maximum 192 kWh and 384 kWh respectively)
  • Up to 25 batteries in 48V banks (maximum 128 kWh)
