Short answer: the Yulara is Exotronic's biggest board: a 5000 VA Victron inverter/charger with a 220 A mains charger, two 50 A solar controllers, two 50 A Orion XS DC-DC chargers, a 500 A SmartShunt and a Cerbo GX. It's for full-time living with heavy 230 V use and a big battery bank. For most weekend and touring setups it's more than you need, and the Karijini or Coorong will do.

What's on the board?
From Exotronic:
- Victron MultiPlus-II 5000 VA inverter/charger with a 220 A mains charger and automatic transfer switch.
- Two Victron SmartSolar MPPT 50 A controllers, up to 100 A of solar charging combined, on a red Anderson plug, with a Noark PV isolation switch on each solar input.
- Two Victron Orion XS 50 A DC-DC chargers, up to 100 A from the alternator combined, adjustable to suit what your alternator can supply.
- Victron SmartShunt 500 A for state of charge, volts and amps.
- Victron Cerbo GX to run and watch the lot, locally or through VRM, with inputs for Ruuvi and Mopeka sensors (sold separately).
- Room to grow: spare MIDI and MEGA fuse slots and a negative busbar.
It's 1400 x 400 x 170 mm, for wall or floor mounting.
Who actually needs this much?
Someone living in it, running big 230 V loads (induction cooking, an air conditioner, power tools) with a battery bank to match. Two DC-DC chargers only help if the alternator can supply 100 A spare, so check that before counting on it; our smart alternator guide explains what to look at.
One thing worth knowing: Victron's own wiring book suggests 12 V systems stay up to about 3000 VA, and that moving up to 24 V is the first thing to consider for bigger inverters, because of how much current 12 V needs. Our cable sizing guide shows why. The Yulara is a 12 V board, so the battery bank, cables and fusing to it have to be up to the job. That's a conversation to have before you buy.
And as with every board with an inverter: fixed 230 V wiring in a van or caravan is a licensed electrician's job (our 230 V guide).

The whole kit: Exotronic - Yulara Series - Pre-wired Victron Board, $6,989.95.
The gap is the board, the PV isolators, the fuse block and busbar, the heavy cabling, the plugs, and the assembly and testing. Our pre-wired vs DIY guide covers whether that's worth it for you.
